Moderation is rarely hard because a single case is hard. It is hard because there are far too many cases and no way to tell in advance which ones deserve a person. The most serious material looks exactly like the least serious until somebody checks, so a queue ordered by arrival time spends its best attention in the wrong places.
Synthetic media made that worse in two ways at once. Convincing images and video can be produced faster than anybody can review them, and a fake of a real person is almost never posted only once. It reappears across accounts and across platforms, so a report that looks like a single incident is usually one fragment of something larger that nobody has joined up.
The checks below run at the volume a platform receives, and each returns a graded finding with the reasoning behind it. That turns a flat queue into an ordered one and gives a reviewer something to act on and to explain later to the user affected, to an appeals process or to a regulator.
